THE OVERSEAS PROPERTY SHOW, A ONE-STOP SHOW FOR OVERSEAS PROPERTY MARKET INSIGHTS AND INVESTMENT ADVICE

THE OVERSEAS PROPERTY SHOW, A ONE-STOP SHOW FOR OVERSEAS PROPERTY MARKET INSIGHTS AND INVESTMENT ADVICE

Birmingham, UK (January 25, 2018} – United Kingdom’s leading property website
(http://www.theoverseaspropertyshow.com/), hosts its overseas property show at the National
Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham 27th & 28th January 2018, 10am-6pm daily.

Portugal becoming a top-pick for savvy foreign property investors

While The Overseas Property Show showcases hundreds of stunning luxury properties from popular
destinations such as Spain, Florida and Cape Verde, Portugal has quietly been creeping to the
top of the wish-list of many potential foreign property buyers.

Portugal is fast becoming one of the most popular destinations in the world in which to
invest. Besides the traditional attractiveness of the sun, sea and the country’s welcoming
people, Portugal has seen its profile boosted by a series of advantageous developments in
recent months.

Shortly after being listed as the world’s third safest country by the influential Global Peace
Index, the Algarve was elected the world’s best place to retire for American expats by Live &
Invest Overseas.

Lisbon also made the list, and was ranked seventh overall.

But this award was not a one-off, and was followed by the Annual Global Retirement Index
saying Portugal was the best place in Europe to retire.

Portugal, which saw economic growth outstrip that of the Eurozone in 2017, has earmarked
foreign investment in real estate, such as the non-habitual resident programme which allows
for extensive or total tax exemption on pensions, as a major motor behind its extraordinary
recovery from the financial crisis.

Such has been the attraction of Portugal, that latest numbers by the Portuguese Association
for Real Estate Agents (APEMIP) said a quarter of all properties sold in Portugal in 2017
were to foreign buyers. Last year also saw a rise of more than 25 percent in terms of property
sales on 2016.

APEMIP say current projections allow them “to forecast that the real estate market will grow
once again in 2018.”

Property prices have meanwhile shown no sign of slowing down. Lisbon saw prices rise by
37 percent in the space of a year, while they were up by 18 percent in the Algarve.

If this is not enough, the World Travel Awards, known as the Oscars of Tourism, elected
Portugal as the World’s Best Destination in December.

One the back of these convincing arguments, the Overseas Property Show will provide
unique chance to see the luxury properties, not only from Portugal, but also other top
overseas destinations gathered under one roof. Showcasing a multitude of options to help investors diversify their portfolio, this is the perfect place to help guide you through the

buying process and find your ideal property abroad.

Along with the exclusive first look at these amazing luxury overseas properties, the attendees
are invited to listen, for free, as industry experts give their insights on the real estate markets
in Portugal, Spain, Cape Verde and Florida and tips for those keen to invest in the overseas
properties. The attraction is simple and straightforward, as most overseas properties offer
much greater value in terms of luxury and cost per square metre.

A spokesperson of Overseas Property Show said: “The show promises to be the signature
property event of the year 2018. We’re confident that there will be something for everyone at
this event.” For those seeking financial support to fulfill their overseas property goals, our
team of qualified professionals will be at the event to give a presentation detailing the
analysis and comparison of the best overseas property mortgage options available.”

Alongside the property agents, there’ll be the all-important professional services with expert
advice on legal, financial, tax and currency. Industry experts will be on-hand to talk you
through the buying process and answer any questions you have.
